A government by the people, for the people. Just as our founders intended.

When leaders stop listening, the people must ROAR!
Recall the lawmakers who silenced our voices and blocked vital disability funding.

In May, Arizona lawmakers will return to debate the full state budget that starts in July.
After conceding on the supplemental funding bill for DDD services, several of the lawmakers now facing recall have faced backlash from within their own political circles — not for the harm they caused, but for giving in.
And they’ve made it clear: they plan to retaliate.
There are already signs that disability funding may be on the chopping block again. This time, not as a negotiation tactic — but as punishment.
This is why the recalls matter. This is why we can’t stop now.
Keeping the pressure on these lawmakers is the only thing stopping further harm. We have to show them that threats and political games will be met with accountability - not silence.
We didn't ask to be in this fight.
As parents, we didn’t ask to be in this fight. But when lawmakers threatened our children's care, we stood up.
We crossed aisles. We locked arms. And we fought to protect our children.
We are not standing as Democrats or Republicans. We stand as parents. As voters. As community members who cannot stand by and allow our vulnerable community members, our disabled children and adults, to be used as pawns and harmed by political games.
The families behind these recalls come from every political background - we are conservative, independent, and liberal alike. This isn’t about partisanship.
We stood up as parents first. As voters next. And most importantly, as community members who refuse to stand by and allow our vulnerable community members, our disabled children and adults, to be used as pawns and to be harmed by political games.
Lawmakers like David Livingston, Matt Gress, Steve Montenegro, and Michael Carbone blocked life-sustaining disability funding. Not because the state couldn’t afford it - it can, five times over - but because they saw an opportunity to force dangerous, permanent changes to Medicaid. They tied emergency funding to political conditions. They villainized caregivers. And they ignored hundreds of families who showed up to plead for help.
They looked this exact child and the disability community in the eye - and chose politics anyway.
This isn’t a debate about budgets. It’s a fight for survival.

R.O.A.R. is a newly formed grassroots political action committee led by parents and represented by attorney Andy Gaona of Coppersmith Brockelman PLC. We are moving forward with recall efforts, and with every signature, every conversation, every action, we are sending a message they can’t ignore:
Arizona values life over dollars.
Arizona defends its most vulnerable.
And Arizona families will not be silenced
They need to be held accountable!
David Livingston, Matt Gress, Steve Montenegro, and Michael Carbone repeatedly blocked emergency funding for the Division of Developmental Disabilities — even after being warned that the program would run out of money by May 2025.
In one committee hearing:
These recalls weren’t organized by political groups.
They were filed by the very people who were harmed — parents, caregivers, and voters who demanded better and were ignored.
This is not a partisan campaign. It’s a response to deliberate obstruction.
When elected officials endanger lives, the public has a duty to respond.
We can’t recall these lawmakers without the power of our community standing together.
